National Desexing Network

For the month of July, the team at Scarness Vet Surgery has committed to supporting the National Desexing Network.

This initiative aims at reducing the over population of cats and dogs throughout Australia by offering reduced desexing prices. At our practice, these discounted prices will be offered to concession card holders.

We are very excited to offer this service to the Hervey Bay region. Our clinic is focused on not only supporting rescues, but also reducing the number of dogs and cats that end up as unwanted pets in our regional pounds.

If you would like to know more about the NDN and the prices available please call the clinic to find out more.

Welcome to our new website :)

This may have been a long time coming but the team at Scarness Vets has launched their new website....

It isn't a quick process to get a new site up... but hopefully this website will help our customers view critical information and in future purchase products, when we launch our new shop!

The practice hasn't changed and our vets haven't changed but hopefully you like it this small change.

Our trainee vet nurse Erin started at the clinic in January 2016, at the same time she started at a web development company...and it was kismet. She helped our team rebuild the site!

In the future we aim to launch an online shop where customers can order products that can be delivered locally direct to their door. These products will include prescription diet food, collars, leads, toys, flea and tick products, wormers and other pet supply products!!

Keep an eye on this blog for news and stories for the clinic and updated advice for pet care!
